Luke the Dog needs a home
Luke is a really friendly 3 year old pup looking for a new family to bond with, as his last family was not able to care for him anymore. For that reason, it is really important to us that his next home is his true forever home!
Luke is housebroken, knows basic obedience commands, and is crate trained -- but he can be a stubborn fella! He’ll need an owner who has patience and understands that he doesn’t enjoy being forced to do something he doesn’t want to do, such as getting into SUVs (he's fine with getting into cars) or being pulled by the collar. He also would do best in a home with children who are teenagers or older.
This handsome guy is very outgoing! He’s very friendly with all people, and is especially playful with other dogs. He seems to do fine with cats. Luke LOVES his food, and will do just about anything to get another snack. For that reason, he is on a diet (he's a bit overweight!). He can be protective of his meals, so he should be fed separately if other dogs are in the house. Luke's a super upbeat guy who will make a great addition to a lucky new family!
